About Education and Policy Exchange

The Education & Policy Exchange was born from a desire to elevate the often-overlooked voices of Black and Brown microschool founders in education. In a field where expert panels and public stages seldom represent the on-the-ground innovators, we are here to change the narrative. This project aims to bring visibility to those actively transforming education in their communities, providing a platform to celebrate and learn from their essential work.

Through our Founder 2 Founder podcast and collaborative initiatives, we connect directly with the founders who are redefining education through unique, community-centered approaches. We are committed to exploring the impact of educational school choice policies, examining how they support or challenge families, and spotlighting what’s working while identifying areas for improvement.
